One great way to update your Facebook page is to change out the cover photo and the profile photo on a
monthly
basis. It can be tied to a promotion going on for that month, or themed from the season we are in. Better yet, you can run contests on Facebook and have your profile and cover photos represent the contest. Whatever the case is, you should be updating your artwork on a monthly basis. Facebook recently changed the look of the desktop version of business pages. There’s no action on your part to make this update, it already happened. Here’s what they changed and how you can take advantage of it.

The updated layout features a cleaner design where your profile picture doesn't overlap with your cover photo. The cover photo still displays on desktop at
828 x 315 pixels while the profile picture displays at
160 x 160 pixels. Also, your Page name and username are now displayed on the left side of your Page below your profile picture.
